‘WITH MUCH QUIET FERVOUR’
St. Nicholas of Myra Church in Dunlavin is over two hundred years old, but Roman Catholic worship has a far longer history in the area. This book briefly outlines the history of the parish before the church was built, and then examines the history of the church building itself. Both clergy and laity contributed to the story of the church, and the building changed and evolved over time. Many of these alterations are documented in this book. The illustrations, many of them evocative of bygone ages, add to the story.
